Once the network is running the JavaScript API will follow and you’ll be able to create desktop and web apps using that, with no need to learn other languages. But as Rob says this isn’t available yet so you can’t use the APIs directly - you could get test apps ready but would need to implement a dummy backend for the Safe APIs until they are ready.
