Running SAFE with BSD

Are BSDs, specifically FreeBSD, supported? I’ve searched the releases of the SAFE Vault and SAFE Browser repositories as well as FreeBSD’s ports to no avail.

Recently I upgraded my macOS workstation to a new box running FreeBSD. Now that I’m running FreeBSD exclusively, on both workstation and server, it would be helpful to be able to continue developing software for SAFE as well as deploying SAFE Vault to servers.

There’s no official support for distros other than Ubuntu, so this is a community responsibility for the time being. You could try the Ubuntu build scripts I released yesterday and maybe we can get those working to build on BSD. See:
